All Steels Trading Ltd

All Steels Trading operates as a bulk trader of a wide range of both long and flat rolled products and combines this service with a huge offering of dockside stock for immediate supply from order. The company also provides a unique skill in being able to source and supply niche market products including special shapes, high yield steels for the offshore industry and micro-alloy grades for hot forging/pressing such as boron steel. From its dedicated portside warehouses at Groveport on the East Coast of England the business is ideally positioned for road trailer deliveries to the UK and mainland Europe. More distant locations around the world can also be serviced through the use of 20ft and 40ft containers.

Special Steel Sections Ltd

Special Steel Sections is a leading hot re-roller of special steel sections and profiles. The mill has a production capacity in excess of 10,000 tonnes per annum. By using a combination of automated production and manual hand rolling, the company has established a niche in the marketplace whereby it can produce small batches of special sizes in an extremely efficient manner. By comparison, today’s modern, fully automated, continuous rolling mills are designed for large, high volume production runs where size changing and set up time is slow, expensive and therefore, prohibitive. 70% of the company’s products are exported with the US being its biggest sales market.

The Steel Ball Company Ltd

The UK’s only manufacturer of hot rolled steel balls. With over 90 years’ experience in the development of grinding media, The Steel Ball Company has justifiably gained a global reputation as a technological leader in this specialised field of manufacturing. The Steel Ball Company’s grinding media is a valuable commodity widely used in power stations for coal grinding, limestone grinding for flue gas desulphurisation, cement production, aerated building block manufacturing and in the mining industry, especially in gold, silver, copper and zinc mines.

The high carbon steel round bars used in the manufacture of the Steel Ball Company’s grinding media balls are only sourced from those mills that have the appropriate accreditation and certification standards. The company also produces mild steel balls for use in decorative ironwork as finials on gates and railings.
